Working together
How I work
I build the framework with you and train your team; your company runs the solution itself. An example flow in six steps; scope and results are stated in the quote.
- Clarify the starting point and scopeWhich AI is in use or planned, who is involved, which harm is conceivable, and what is explicitly not covered?
Result: scope, list of harms · Consultant - Design the framework and conceptRoles, risk classes, release process and evidence structure, fitted to your company and open to the future legal situation.
Result: concept for the framework · Consultant, Captain - Hand over templatesRisk table with acceptance criteria fixed before the first test, plus an example test rig as code.
Result: templates and example · Builder - Train the teamThe top-down method, checks for ML models, language models and agents, handling decoy cases and upper bounds.
Result: trained team, materials · Trainer - Support the build-upAnswer questions and read the internal solution for gaps, without accepting it. Your company decides and releases.
Result: feedback on the build-up · Consultant - Watch the legal situation, adapt the frameworkAs the legal situation becomes clearer, the framework is adapted. Operations, monitoring and releases stay with your company; I deliver an operations plan.
Result: adapted framework, operations plan · Consultant
Day rate CHF 1200, billed by effort; VAT and the length of a day are stated in the quote. This is a price indication, not an offer. I work on the basis of a quote that you confirm.
In addition: an external analysis of individual systems
On request I can additionally test an individual system externally. This is an addition to the framework and to your company's own testing: a further, independent view that can be useful as supplementary evidence.
It is not an acceptance and not a release. Responsibility for the system and the product stays with your company. Whether and how such evidence counts in an audit is decided by the auditing body.
Limits
- No formal acceptance of individual systems and no release in your place. Testing and the decision stay with your company.
- Responsibility for your AI systems and products stays with your company. I do not take it on; the contractual distribution is set out in the quote.
- An additional external analysis of individual systems only as an addition, on request and without acceptance. It does not replace your own testing and is no assurance for an audit.
- No legal advice and no legal texts. That is what lawyers are for.
- No certification. I am not a certification body.
- Tests show upper bounds, never the absence of failures. No test rig catches unknown failure modes.
- A demo on toy data is not a statement about your system.
- Where a single failure weighs heavily and cannot be shown sufficiently, I recommend controls outside the model, or not doing it. If your own framework is not worth it for your project, I will say so.
Answers
Do you assess individual AI systems or formally accept them?
No, not as a rule: I provide framework, concept, templates and training, and your company tests and releases its own systems. I offer an analysis of individual systems only as an addition, on request and without formal acceptance.
Who is responsible for my AI systems and products?
Your company is responsible for your AI systems and products, even if I provide framework, concept, templates and training. I take no responsibility for your products and do not release anything in your place. How responsibility and liability are distributed contractually is set out in the quote; your lawyer should look at that.
Does an additional external analysis help in an audit?
An additional, externally performed analysis can be supplementary evidence that complements your company's own testing. It replaces neither the own testing nor a certification or a formal acceptance. Whether and how evidence counts in an audit is decided by the auditing body; I give no assurance on that.
What do I get in concrete terms?
In concrete terms you get a concept for your framework (roles, risk classes, release, evidence), templates for the risk table and acceptance criteria, an example of a test rig as code, training for your team and support during the build-up. Which of these your project needs is stated in the quote.
Do you work on site or remotely?
On site I work in the canton of Aargau, for example in Brugg, Windisch, Baden, Lenzburg or Aarau. Calls by video are possible across Switzerland. My base is Bözberg near Brugg AG.
How does first contact work?
It starts with a message by email or phone in which you describe the use case in two sentences. I tell you whether and how I can support you, even if the result is that your project does not need its own framework. I work on the basis of a quote that you confirm.
What does working together cost?
My day rate is CHF 1200, billed by effort; this is a price indication, not an offer. Scope and price are in the quote that you confirm. Any statement on duration is an estimate from experience, not a commitment.

Send me the use case in two sentences. I will get back to you and say whether and how your project can be tested. Whether I can take the job depends on my workload.
